To maximize your experience and safety, we limit our groups to six climbers. Trekking solo? This gives you maximum flexibility in terms of date, route, and climbing pace. If you are having difficulty acclimatizing, you can easily add another day to your trek. Unlike most Kilimanjaro companies, we do not charge more for solo treks. We will immediately reply with availability and a price quote. After we have confirmed availability, you need to submit a $200 deposit to reserve your climb. Final payment must be paid 14 days prior to the scheduled climb date. By submitting final payment, climber agrees to the Samba Treks booking conditions and assumption of liability agreement. "Samba Treks is great. Charles and the porters did a fantastic job. I was so happy to get to the top but really that's only half way. The service never faltered after the summit, which many take as the end. It was great to be able to take an extra rest day. I don’t think I would have had as great of an experience if I had pushed on. I saw a girl coming down the mountain in tears saying she couldn’t walk anymore. She had food poisoning and hadn’t kept anything down for a few days. Her guide was less than helpful but wanted to ‘get her to the top’.
